Kennedy Howle suspected her new husband Orcas Howle was cheating on her, but soon she began to suspect that he was doing much worse than this. Bodies began to show up dead all around the cemetery of Oakspring, Scotland. Kennedy followed her husband one night to try and catch him. She had no clue that when the moon was full he transformed into a violent, murderous Lycan monster. Kennedy discovers her own powers as a Mage, she must try to stop him from killing again. Kennedy goes to the police with her suspicions that Orcas Howle is infact the moon light serial killer that they are looking for. He decides he must turn Kennedy into a vampire to use her as his secret weapon against her own husband and destroy him. Orcas Howle finds that Kennedy Starling is indeed his fated mate. He tries to protect her from his enemies and his own clan. Kennedy is taken by Weston Moore and given to his son Lucas to prepare her to kill her own husband, Weston convinces her that she is the only one that can stop the serial killer. Kennedy has no clue that she is in a vampire coven, until Orcas comes for her.
