Grace Winters was my name and I was a few months away from finishing my studies in mental health and first aid training.
Down the hall was where the science class was and somewhere down the line was where chaos ensued and the world as we knew it had changed forever.
Blood, death and c*****e was everywhere you looked now and if you saw someone coming towards you, you did not hesitate, you did not engage, you simply ran. You ran until your legs burned and ached as much as your chest did and you’d better pray you survived and escaped the night unscathed or rather untouched by them, to be touched by them meant one thing and one thing only…death.
