"Just kill me Roman.." Gene muttered under her breath, laying on the floor of the dungeon of King Roman's kingdom.
Her eyes were close, but she still looked at him in his eyes as his going black and darker.
Roman walked up to her in anger, frustration but he was still walking very slow, watching her every move. Because this human was Roman's mate.
He grabbed her by the shoulders, looking her dead in the eyes.
"Kill me.." She said, challenging him, and the King breath got heavy on him. In the darkness of the dungeon he was standing their watching her lay on the ground. She was inside dying.
"You will die slowly Genevieve.. and I will watch you go through it." He whispered, speaking directly to her soul, while his nails digging into her.
"Kill me. I dare you."
A flicker of defiance in her eyes, even as pain consumes her.
Roman's breath heavy, frustration boiling over.
"A member of my kingdom was killed because of you. You will suffer."
His voice low, filled with a dark promise.
Gene smiled "Suffer? You think that scares me?"
A slight smirk, even as blood trickles from her wounds.
"You will die slowly... and I will watch."
His nails dig into her skin, a mix of passion and rage swirling within him.
Gene never looked away from him.
"Then let me feel every moment."
Her eyes, fierce and unyielding, challenge him.
"Too easy... I want you to feel the weight of your choices."
The struggle within him evident, torn between duty and an undeniable bond.
