Ivy:
"Be patient, Arbor. Using magic like that will drain you." her soft voice returned. I smiled, hearing it outside of my mind this time.
"She's barely breathing," he thundered.
"Goddess, Arbor. Quieten down." I hissed.
I should have stayed quiet. The moment I spoke, he snatched me from where I was lying and wrapped me in a bone-crunching hug.
"Thank you!" I exclaimed.
"You're welcome, Arbor. I think this is part of why the Goddess chose you to teach me. Her plans are for other reasons sometimes."
