Before Ivy, I would have said something d.i.c.k.i.s.h like that there was no such thing as a good man. Men have the mindset of power. The more they get, the more they want. No man is good. But since meeting Ivy, I understood the action he was taking. I understood his drive because I felt it, too. She made me want to be a good man, a good mate.

"I know," I responded. Both of us felt some type of urgency to return to her side. I knew Damon's mark was why he wanted to be next to her. I couldn't figure out why mine was so strong… but I know I love her, and that must be it. My love for her has to be enough.
