I hurriedly stepped out of the car as soon as we arrived at the hospital. I didn't wait for Alfred to open the door for me. I badly wanted to see my boss so, without even glancing, I walked as fast as I could.
"Hey! Wait a minute, Scarlet! I haven't told you what Lucas' room number is. So you have to wait for me."
"Sorry, attorney. I'm just freaking worried about Sir Lucas and I want to see how his condition is right now."
"Yeah, I know. But you need to calm down and prepare yourself for what you will see and know, okay?" He insisted that he added to the nervousness that I'm currently feeling.
"Huh? What do you mean? Is he in a very critical condition?"
"Yeah. Actually, he needs surgery and I think it will take a while for him to wake up."
