Chapter Thirty: Argument

I was twenty minutes late. That's why, instead of going to Sir Lucas's office, I went straight to the conference room. But I was surprised that the room was still closed.

"Oh, I thought there was a conference today?"

I slowly turned around. I thought Joaquin had left, but he was still standing behind me.

"Uhm, maybe later. Why are you still here? I thought you had already left."

"Well, I think I have to attend too." He said while crossing his arms.

"Sorry Joaquin, but I have to go now. I'll go and look for Sir Lucas first. By the way, thanks for the free ride."

"I'll come with you," he insisted.

"Nah it's okay." I said with a smile.
