EZRA
It was almost Christmas but it felt so different than all of the years before. Just crazy to think how things change. How Ezra changed.
Ezra stood on the balcony, leaning on the railing. She felt the chilly wind up her spine but even in the freezing cold, she didn't put on a jacket. Once she would go back to her room, she'd be sweating anyways.
She looked around, the trees and the benches were already covered in dew, hinting at the possibility of snowfall. She let out a deep breath that turned into smoke as she pressed her hand against her mouth.
Rustling and chatter sounded from below and she looked over. A small group of maids and butlers stood with some of their things in separate trolley bags. The smile on their faces reflected happiness.
They started loading their things……
