As the match drew to a close, Anant's team emerged victorious. Exhausted and breathing heavily, he wiped the sweat from his brow and took a moment to quench his thirst. However, today was different. He turned around and glanced at Rahi, who sat in the stadium. Rahi's attention was not directed towards Anant but towards someone else—Samay. Anant clenched his fist, shattering the water bottle he held, and stormed off.
Throughout the day, Anant couldn't shake the image of Rahi's smiling face upon seeing Samay. It played over and over in his mind, as if he had won the match but lost something far more significant.
As they walked out of the university, Monica couldn't resist mentioning Anant's gaze at Rahi during the match.
"You missed Anant's look. He was staring at you, and the camera capture……
