So this is what love feels like.
I wandered around the packhouse feeling deliciously sore in all the right places, feeling as happy and peaceful as I could ever remember feeling in my life. I’d slipped out of his bed so that I could dart across the hall to my own room, where I quickly showered and brushed my teeth. I thought we’d meet up again at the breakfast table, as usual, and was just a little disappointed when I found myself dining with the twins. My sister was sleeping in, I guess, and Vero also had some pressing business.
Neither Brock nor Aaron was particularly talkative first thing in the morning. In fact, they looked like they’d had a rough night. There were dark smudges under their pale eyes, and they were hitting the strong black coffee extra hard. T……
