The taxi driver dropped me off at the front door to the pack house, and I staggered in, bumping into furniture that seemed to have jumped into my path from nowhere. I decided I was going to go and give Olivia a piece of my mind before I fell into bed to sleep it off, but when I pushed open her door, I found her bedroom silent and empty. The bed was still neatly made and undisturbed. I checked the bathroom too, just in case she was hugging the porcelain throne, but there was no sign of Olivia anywhere.
“Oh s**t,” I said, as the reality of the situation hit my inebriated brain.
Olivia hadn’t made it home.
I hurried across the hall to alpha’s room and pounded on his door, but there was no response. I pushed open Josiah’s door only to find another ……
