We walk outside on the deck, and I see the two people I am supposed to kill tonight. If only somebody would have spoken up for them. But there was nobody. None of their friends wanted anything to do with them. How many people did you have to anger that nobody is willing to stand up for you when you needed their friendship? I do not think they deserve death, but I cannot let them go. If I let them go and send them to work on the mine in Africa, I will seem weak, and the Dons and Donnas of England will not respect me. I know they tried to kill Antonio, but we don't have solid proof. It is all speculation and the word of a questionable woman. Perhaps she was angry because he did not want to marry her, and now she is telling everybody that he hired her to kill Antonio. I ……
