So the creek was briefly mentioned in chapter 6 :). And now you know why Alistair's pack is called the Silver Creek Pack. The creek empties into the lake behind Alistair's house. Remember when Xavier and Rose attended a meeting in his backyard and saw a motorboat parked in the dock? So yeah...lots of planning, lots of hints sprinkled throughout the entire story. :)
