Chapter 5: I Wasn't Meant To Catch You At The Party

"I don't care if you're too tired. You're not sleeping here" I hissed. He huffed.

"Can you at least take me home" he asked quietly. My jaw ticked.

"No. I'm not a taxi service. Call a cab or an Uber, I don't care which but you better leave when I come back" I said impatiently.

"Can I call you later" he said hopeful. Oh for f**k sake he so needy. I hate the needy and clingy type. I just want to f**k them and forget them. That isn't much for asked for.

"No" I said bluntly and left the room, without putting on my clothes on, I went to check on Ruby. I heard him mumbled something when I was on the way out but I didn't care. My main concern was Ruby and see if she's sleeping ok.

I walked into her room, not bothering knocking cause I don't see the point. We don't have nothing to hide. The room was dark, so it hard to see.

"Ruby? Are you asleep?" I whispered softly as I was walking up to her bed.There was no reply from her. I didn't even hear her snoring which is odd cause she snors like a grizzly bear. So I got closer to the bed but as soon as I got close, I relise that her bed was empty. I switched the light on and pulled off the covers. It was completely empty. I panicked and went to the bathroom.

"Ruby, are you in the bathroom?" I asked worried but once I checked, she wasn't there. s**t! Where could she be? Then it accured to me. She went to the party when I explicitly told her not to. I bet it's that Robin girl who convince Ruby to go to the party. Ever since she came into Ruby's life, she was nothing but bad influence to her. So I went back to my room to get my phone to call her but when I called her, it went straight to voicemail. I tried a few more times but I had no answer. She wasn't picking up. This unlike her. She always pick up on the first ring. f**k! I was livid. How could she disobey me like that? When got to my room, I noticed that the guy was still here and lying down on the bed with just his trousers on. That made me even more livid. Why hasn't he left yet?

"What are you still doing here? I told you to go" I snapped loudly. He flinched to my out burst.

"I thought you might change your mind and let me stay here for the night" he said sheepishly. Is he delusional or something? Did I not make it clear that I want him out?

"Why the f**k would I change my mind?" I said impatiently. He was getting on my nerves.

"I thought you might want some company and maybe cuddle" he said shyly. Cuddle? Do look like the type of guy to cuddle? That's not my thing. I don't do cuddling.

"GET OUT" I bellowed as I already lost my patience. I need to get Ruby. He scampered off and as soon as he left, I got changed into a black t-shirt and joggers with white sneakers. I grabbed my jacket on the way and left the house. I went to the garage, jumped in my jeep and speed off to the party; using the tracker, that I put in on Ruby's phone. That's right. I put a tracker on Ruby's phone so I know where she is. It's for her safety so don't judge me.

It said that it will take half an hour to get there but I made it to the party in ten minutes. I parked my jeep on one of the side street and went to the party.

When I got in the house, it was packed. The music was blasting, people was dancing together. Grinding on one another, people was making out and there was a lot booze lying around. How am I going to find Ruby in the crowd? I groaned with frustration.

I pushed through the crowd, not caring if I stepped on people. People was cursing at me which I just ignored them. My focus is to find Ruby and get her out of here.

I looked everywhere for her but she was hard to find with all these people in my way. I was about to go outside when I saw Robin dragging Ruby out of the kitchen. She was looking back at someone. She was saying something to them. I looked where she was talking to and my annoyance it was some guy. He was looking at her lust fully when she walked away. I was mad. How dare he look at her like that. I wanted to rip his eyes from his socket. He doesn't deserve to look at her. In a matter of fact, no one deserves to go near her let alone look at her. I deal with him later.

I followed Robin and Ruby; making my way through the crowd to get to them. They were going upstairs. I was about to go up when someone grabbed my arm.

"Hey sexy, do you want to dance with me" some random girl asked flirtatious. I pulled my arm away from her.

"f**k off. You're not my type" I gritted out but she ignored me.

"One dance and maybe we can go somewhere private to have some fun" she suggested. She was swaying a bit. She was drunk. I hate drunks. I looked at her with disgust.

"I said f**k off" I said slowly and dangerously and yet she didn't budge. She grabbed my arm again.

"Come on. I promised you'll have fun" she said softly. My eye switched. The girl is really pissing me off.

"f**k off" I snapped.

"Ok how about this? we forget the dance and go straight to somewhere more private. I promise I'll make it worthwhile" she promised. I was furious now. Is she deaf? I grabbed her by her throat and went into her face.

"I'm going to say this once. I leave me a f**k alone or I'll make you" I said darkly.

"Oooh. You want to be rough? I like that" she said seductively. Is she deranged or something. Having no time for her present. I fling her away and went upstairs but she followed me. The b***h actually followed me.

"Wait! Where are you going?" She asked. Having no patience, I turned round and punched her in the face. She fell down the stairs. I went up the stairs, not bothering looking back. When I got upstairs, I opened every door hoping Ruby would be in one of them and getting frustrated by the second. I was about to open one of the door when I saw Robin coming out. She didn't notice me. I saw that she was holding some clothes while she was walking away. Was that's Ruby's clothes? Was she sick? I panicked. This is why I didn't want her to go to the party. Anyone could take advantage of her or get herself hurt. I ran up to the door and banged the door.

"It's occupied" Ruby shouted. I banged the door again.

"I said it's occupied" she shouted in annoyance but I kept on banging the door until she fling it open. She looked like she was about ready to fight when she notice me standing in front of the door way. Her face fallen and she looked scared. She gulped. Good. Now she knows how furious and pissed off I am with her.

"Hey Orlando" she said nervously. She gave me a sheepish smile.

"Don't 'Hey Orlando' me, Ruby" I gritted out. I noticed that she was just wearing her bra and panties. I was fuming. I didn't want guys googling at her like this.

"We are leaving now" I stated coldly. I grabbed a towel from the rack and wrapped her with it and I put my jacket on her. I fling her over my shoulder and starting leaving.

"Put me down, Orlando. I capable of walking" she demanded. Punching my back but I ignored her and kept on walking.

"Let me go, Orlando. People are staring at us" she complained. However, I didn't care that they were staring at us. I just wanted take Ruby home safe. I heard someone calling out to Ruby but I didn't stop until I got out of the house and headed to my car. Once we made to my car, I put Ruby in the passenger's seat and bukled her in. I went over to driver side, I hopped in and sped off. Ruby was whining and complaining in my ear of how I embarrass her in front of everyone while I was driving us back home. This is going to be a long weekend.
