29: At the Mountain

I abruptly get up, it goes quiet for a second, I scream when something falls on my

shoe, I jump around trying to shake it off, I hate cockroaches. I hear heavy breathing

and growling and slowly turn around.

" Cassandra!" Dylan looks.. not happy at all, his eyes are red with anger. Behind him

are James, Tyler, and Jean. It looks Like they ran all the way here.

Did they follow my scent? I start to back away as Dylan takes steps toward me until

I'm at the edge. If I slip, I might roll off the mountain.

" Why did you run away?" Dylan asks in a rough voice. I look at him

and shake my head before saying

" Leave," my voice is strained, and quiet like I've not had water for a long time.

He takes another step toward me and I take one back, making me lose my footing. I

almost fall but he catches me, pul……
