All it took for Maddox to move from where he was kissing to where the wizard was standing was one second. I don't know how he did it; I wouldn't be capable of such, but he did.

My joy is short-lived. One moment, my heart swirls with joy that we finally have the wizard, and the next, I am sad.

"I finally have you!" He growls.

"It will take more than that to have me," the wizard snarls, and just like that, he is switched with someone else.

He appears near me, his golden eyes boring into mine.

"You may have won this round, but let's see how long you can play!" he lets out evil laughter and vanishes into thin air before Maddox or I can reach him.

He is now toying with us. It's impossible to catch him without Seb. Maddox is already by my side, checking for any injuries, but I give him a look that……
