The restaurant that Theo brings me to isn’t what I was expecting from him.
Being the son of a Duke and all, I’m used to him being a little snobby about the places he frequents. In the past, I would expect him to take me to some over-priced place that calls a single mouthful of food a meal, and has some crazy dishes on its menu that I could never imagine trying.
This place is the complete opposite of all that.
Sure, the location is bougie, what with it being on the rooftop of a skyscraper, but otherwise the atmosphere is really low-key.
The staff aren’t even wearing uniforms— they just have aprons on to make sure people know who to come to for help. There’s a bar spread out in the very center of the floor. Add to that the delicious smells in the air, the mood lighting, the lo……
