Lillian seemed to agree with my views and further spoke, “How are we going to convince the soldiers for the lessons?”
I grinned as I threw thirty shillings on the bed, “We won’t even have to lift a finger. The money will do all the talking.”
“Young lady, are you suggesting bribery?” asked Lillian.
I nodded. Lillian gave me the eye as she advised, “That’s not morally correct. We could end up in a dungeon for that crime.”
Before I could explain to her, I heard a loud bang. A sharp mewing followed afterwards. We both took a breath of relief that it was just a cat.
Thereafter, I hurriedly peeked outside the room to see if anybody was around. After making sure nobody was spying on us, I related my opinion on the same, “We wouldn’t be bribing them. It would be more of a fee for being help……
