When Edie woke up, she was in a trance and didn't know if it was real or a dream. It was the feeling of soreness that brought her to her senses. The madness of last night in her mind, the vague images that struck her once again was almost unbearable.
Her hands trembled as she lifted the quilt and her eyes turned red at the sight of a huge red hickey on her neck and the tears fell down uncontrollably. She didn't know what else to do but cry. She didn't even know who to blame.
Did she blame Stuart? He never said he was gay and she never asked him. She just assumed that he was, so who can she blame? Did she blame Aaron? Because what Aaron said, she readily believed it. Was she too trusting?
Edie felt like a boat drifting on the sea, alone, helpless, not sure where to go. She curle……
