Beau didn’t leave it too long. He launched himself from the bed he had shared with Jeanne-Marie and went out in search of him.
But the house appeared to be empty. The rooms revealed to Beau only furnishings, paintings on the walls, appliances, and the utilities of living. But each room was empty. Jeanne-Marie, it seem……
