Meghan’s life is all but good as a slave stuck in a horrible, violent pack – and things don’t get any better for her when her sister’s fiancé abuses her, leaving her pregnant.
Faced with the prospect of becoming a breeder and horrified by the idea that her child might grow up as a slave as well in that pack, she decides to run away, aided by her grandma – finding safe haven in a new pack, where someone special was waiting for her: her own mate.
With him she starts a new life, as they grow their own children together as a family.
Happiness, though, is not meant to last: and when, four years later, her baby daddy comes back into her life not only declaring her as his mate, but revealing that her father, a horrible and cruel Alpha, has all the intentions of getting his hands on her babies, Meghan knows she’ll have to do everything she can to protect her children and her family.
