I knew better than to trust her innocent act. Most humans hide their venom behind a smile, and she was no different.
“Fine. But I won’t be blacked by a human. I’ll just claim the video is fake, made by AI,” I said, trying to regain control.
She leaned closer, her eyes glinting with mischief. “I don’t care if the world believes it. But if your father sees it… you’ll be exiled to this small town forever. Your chance at being Alpha King? Poof, gone,” she said with a smirk.
Her words hit harder than I expected. “You see, darling mate, I am a hunter. That makes you my prey. Apex predator my foot,” she said with a soft chuckle.
