Rani was captured and to be sold when she was 4 years old and was bought by the royals. The king and the Queen bought her for their 9 years old son Rudra to use Rani as his personal servant.
However, Rani is the only one who stand up to Rudra nor does she cares what he does to her cause she isn't afraid of him.
When Rudra first lay eyes on her and saw that she wasn't afraid of him that got his curiosity towards her and that's leads him to want to know more about her and that is when he decided that she will be his and only his.
