Bridget was born out of a teen mistake of her mother and her mother in the process of proving that she was not a failure put a tight leash on her and wanted her to be perfect no matter what. Bridget was kept from the outside world and the first time she would step outside, she also made the same mistake as her mother as she ended up getting pregnant for Mike, her neighborhood friend when she got admitted to the university.
She couldn’t contact him and had to live with her cross as her mother abandoned her and baby ended up dead. She became a neurosurgeon after ten years and her past came rolling into her life as she crossed path with her mother and Mike, who was still interested in her even though a fellow doctor also has a crush on her in the hospital. Will she be able to forgive them? Will she let Mike back in her life?

She clutched him tightly as if her life depended on it as he sped through the street and after an hour of driving, he turned into a narrow street which seemed lonely and dark. She was too scared to even ask where they were, but she had a sort of trust in him that he was not going to harm her at least.
