Book 3 of the Protectors Series
Status: Complete
It started with a dusty journal, tucked away in the back of the library, the library in the house a boy was trapped in.
Jaiden is the only son of Travis, the leader of the Bear Shifters. One of the biggest bear shifter packs around, Travis is very popular, and extreme. He even has friends with other types of shifters as well, able to command a huge Shifter army if needs arise. He’s forced his only child to stay inside their house all his life, only allowing certain people to see him. Jaiden has never stepped foot outside his house. It was lonely for Jaiden, locked in the house all alone with nothing but a library of books to read, and the instruments in the musical room to keep him preoccupied. One day he finds a book he hasn’t read before in the library and he starts to read it, learning so much more about himself than he ever would have thought possible.
Now that the secrets of the past are explained, Jaiden sees his father in a whole new light, and not a good one. He slips away, running, running to the pack mentioned in the Journal, The Snow Moon Pack. One thing leads to another and he’s sent to live at the Blood Moon pack, where his new life begins.
Lexi and Zain have been engaged since birth, more in love than ever, at least until recently. Zain has become popular, the basketball star, and Lexi has become self conscious of it all, trying to distract her fears by using all her free time to train. What will happen when Jaiden befriends Lexi? How will Zain react to this?
And what happens when Travis discovers his son is gone?
