Joshua Wilkins is the tech king. He owns a Fortune 500 company that revolves around his ability to produce the best technology out there. His products are mostly designed to help businesses work more efficiently but also to assist the FBI and the Secret Service whenever he can. Joshua is the golden boy in the Wilkins family, and his grandfather wants to merge his firm with Joshua’s, leaving Joshua in charge of the whole enterprise. His grandfather demands that he get his personal life together, which means settling down with a nice woman. But Joshua has no such wish for himself until life throws in Lydia Conner.
Lydia is the daughter of Brian Conner, who owns the publishing firm Conner Books. Like Joshua, Lydia is a workaholic, working 12-14 hours a day to make a name for herself and not falling into socialite expectations. The last thing she wants is to be seen as nothing more than a housewife, a pretty accessory, and an heir-maker.
When the two are thrown together in an arranged marriage by her father and his grandfather, they slowly learn to co-exist and realize that they would do anything for the other to succeed. Lydia has to navigate her way in her new life, and Joshua has to keep himself from falling for the beautiful woman in his life.
