His eyes first trailed over my body, fire erupting along everywhere his gaze touched. Holy goddess.
I could feel my panties getting wet. My body heating up and my throat drying up as we both stared at each other.
“He is even more glorious than I imagined.” Nia whispered to me.
I almost agreed with her but stopped myself instantly. “Nia, you better let go of me. I’m warning you. If—”

And like that, she returned back control to me. My mouth dropped open in shock and I staggered back, away from Lucien. My face flushed, my heart beating rapidly. Damn it! Kayla’s wolf was so evil. How could she give me back control like this?
“What did I tell you, Kyla?” came Lucien’s deep voice that caused chills to kiss the surface of my skin.
“To stay away from you.” I whispered, lowering my head to the floor. “I’m sorry. I’ll just leave.”
“Leave?” A dark chuckle escaped his lips, causing me to stare up at him. His gaze had darkened dangerously and he had taken two steps closer to me. “You came here despite the rule I stated to you clearly. It must mean you’re not afraid of anything. Why do you think you can leave like that? I should give you what you came here for, don't you think?”
“W-what I came here for?” I whispered, confused, looking at him for answers and then it hit me. I quickly used my hands to cover my body. “You’re misunderstanding me, Alpha Lucien. I didn’t come here for—Ah---”
He didn’t wait to listen to me before he grabbed my arm and pushed me into the bed and before I could protest, he had settled on top of me, pinning both of my hands above me as his face hovered over mine.
“Trying to run now?”
