Nova is a hacker with a secret organization called the Shadow Ciphers. During one of her missions, she had to infiltrate an elected official's office and extract information from his computer. During this mission, her curiosity got away with her and she obtained information that sees her on a hit list.
Red Shadow is a mercenary paid to capture Nova and bring her to his boss. During their trip to the planet he has to deliver her to, they meet all sorts of obstacles and grow closer. Will duty and a pay check keep Red Shadow from his budding feelings for the pretty hacker? Or will her charm and wit win him over and perhaps even save her life?

I'm pacing in the med bay of my ship. Nova still hasn't woken up. It's been three f*****g days! Her wounds are healing well with some healing ointment. I have a feeling that they used poison on the whip. So I swabbed one of the cuts the whip left on her skin and sent it through a scanner. I'm still waiting for the results. Which means it is p……
