Gzera, a high priestess, crash-lands on Thorn's desolate land, her magic depleted. Thorn, a reclusive warrior god, reluctantly takes her in. Gzera's life-giving magic transforms his land into a vibrant oasis, and she unwittingly draws power from his divine presence, becoming far stronger than before.
As her power returns, Gzera prepares to fulfill her destiny and wed her soulmate. Thorn, realizing he's fallen in love with her, is heartbroken. Gzera departs, but her soulmate proves to be cold and indifferent, viewing her only as a means to produce powerful offspring. Her attempts to return home are thwarted by her own people, who prioritize political alliance.
Humiliated and trapped, Gzera's final breaking point comes when her soulmate tries to force himself on her. In self-defense, she unleashes a burst of magic, injuring him. Knowing her life is in danger, Gzera makes a desperate, uncontrolled jump through a portal, hoping to return to Thorn.
Instead, she lands in the throne room of the King of Thunder, Thorn's cruel brother. Weakened and vulnerable, Gzera is held captive. Though her magic is dormant, she begins to train, slowly regaining her strength. Her rising power draws the attention of other gods and entities in the palace, who covet her abilities. Unbeknownst to her captors, Gzera's time with Thorn has elevated her to the status of a formidable goddess, a power that will be crucial in her fight for freedom.
What do you think is the biggest obstacle Gzera faces in escaping the King of Thunder's realm?
