Daxton has worked hard and finally his dream has been realised, he sits with some of the best athletes in the country as the Centre for the San Francisco Warriors Basketball team. He plays hard both on and off the court, living life to the limits until his coach and the team\'s owner pull his head from the clouds and place his ass firmly back on the ground with a bump.
Lilian, the vivacious spitfire who has fought through the demons of her past is out in the real world, but the determined girl who did whatever it took to realise her dreams, and thought that after leaving college, the world would be at her feet, has had a rude awakening when her dream job just never materialised. With debt up to her eyes and a string of dead end jobs keeping her head above water, a lifeline is thrown to her by the way of her best friend. A job has opened in the advertising section of a basketball team that holds promise to go all the way this year.
Applying, she\'s surprised when she gets the position and swallowing her nerves, uproots her life and heads toward Boston to finally start the life she\'s been dreaming of since she was a teenager. What she doesn\'t realise is that her job comes with a blast from the past, the man she despises but has never been able to get out of her head.
