It was never Will Ferguson choice to live among fairies. As a matter of fact, he had nothing but hate for every single fairy that existed. They hated him for the blood that ran through his veins. A fact that he kept hidden.
Adopted at a young age, he had no knowledge that he was a hybrid with demon blood. Demons were not tolerated anywhere in the fairy kingdom. Any and all demons were killed. It was not as he had it much better being a werewolf. Werewolves that lived there were desperate with no pack or kicked out by their pack. Fairies saw them as second class citizens.
When he found himself accused of a crime that he did not commit, his punishment was meant to humiliate him and break his spirit. Soon after he decided to escape the cruelty of the fairy kingdom, only to meet his mate. A mate that had to be the cruelest joke that the moon goddess could play on him.
