However, I still feel it affecting me subconsciously, as I put up a wall every time I meet someone new to avoid being hurt again. And now, out of the blue, there he stood in front of me right now, as my brother's best man.”

“Maybe…..”, I replied casually, leaning on her desk.
“Who was she anyway?”, she asked as she gently knocked my head with her flip chart.
“Just a friend for now, but I promise you, Sarah, one day I will make her mine.”
