Eli walked beside me, still humming the same random tune. He swung his arms like he didn’t have a care in the world, and it made me smile a little. He looked over at me.
“Hey,” he said, nudging me with his elbow, “wanna see the art room? It’s not locked this late, and there’s some cool stuff in there.”
