Hazel is a wolfless Omega who was raised by the local werewolf pack; found on the doorstep of a maid’s house who worked in the pack house. The Alpha was reluctant to take in an outside pup, but the maid who had served the pack for generations begged to be able to raise her, having never found her mate and started a family. He relents and the maid, Cherry, takes in the pup as her own, naming her Hazel.Hazel has had an okay life, she couldn’t complain really about it; but the other wolves in the back don’t exactly make life easier for her, especially since she never got her wolf. Most of the wolves her age take it as a sign that she shouldn’t have been taken in, let alone left to live; making her life at school, and at her job cleaning, hell.When a visiting Alpha from a pack across the country arrives for the birthday celebration for the Alpha’s daughter, he takes a keen interest in Hazel. It is his own guard that has to pull him off of her when she is accosted at the party, making him kill the wolf and save her. But when his rage at his own wolf dies down, he notices a sweet smell in the air that almost drives him insane emanating from her; making him wonder what this little omega is hiding.
