Alaena Blakhart is the only child of Moraxes Blakhart, the Alpha of the Western pack. Her mother died when she was a baby, leaving Alaena as the only offspring and next in line to lead the pack.

Alaenas pack has been at war with the Eastern pack for centuries, although there had been peace for the past two years, tensions were still high. This was looking to change when Alaena discovered the Croonies were back after spotting them on one of her evening walks.
She convinces her father, against the wishes of her pack members, to reach out and call for a meeting with their enemies as there is a way bigger threat in the shape of the evil Croonies.
In a crazy turn of events, Alaena watches her father get beheaded by Roy Silvermane, the son of Alpha Cyrus, leader of the Eastern pack.
