Monroe Jensen has been overseas for years but has decided to return to the States to expand his business. Upon seeing people from his past, he's decided to throw a bit of revenge in the mix. There are people he believes need to answer for their wrongdoings: Deon Gage and Jaylene Mackey.
Deon Gage is selfish and always out to get what he wants. What he wants is Jaylene by his side, whether that's what she wants or not. What's his major plan to get her where he wants her? Will she come willingly, or will she fight?
Jaylene Mackey has dealt with a lot to get to where she is now. She refuses to be brought down or ruled by her parents or those from her past. Then she sets eyes on Monroe again, changing everything. Is she who Monroe thinks she is; is Monroe who she thought? Will they come together, or will the chasm between them grow? Along with all this, family members are working at odds with the group. How will everything play out? Will it be revenge or turn into love?
