Alicia didn't have many wishes in life, all she ever wanted was to find her fated mate and possibly leave the pack and never return. However, fate played a cruel joke on her, when the one she was waiting for turned out to be the very person that hated her the most. Abandoned by the one that was supposed to protect and remove her suffering, Alicia lost all hopes and slowly she began to lose the will to survive, what is there to live for anyway?
The alpha of the Blood Moon Pack wasn't necessarily searching for his fated mate. He didn't think he had one. It was highly impossible that the Moon Goddess would be generous enough to grant him a mate now. Not after everything he had done. He didn't search for long before giving up. He always felt a pang of jealousy when those around him found their mates, but he was clever enough to never let it show. He believed there are far more important things to do in life to atone for all his sins and looking for the one that could inevitably end up to be his weak link is not one of them.
