Wounds. They impair thought and bring pain. Inflicted, not because of status, but because of will. Sometimes, you will them into existence, and sometimes, they are willed by others.

A 40 year old farmer was sipping his morning tea, living joyfully with his family. Poverty didn't effect him, nor did his basic lifestyle. He was content with what he had and kept no desires in his mind. He had lost to life before, but now, he was enjoying what life offered. In his peaceful, cozy hut, he enjoyed the company of his young and lively daughter who he worked hard for.

But then, as the sun set, all he loved was gone. Everything he valued, he cherished, was gone in the blink of an eye. Rage filled his eyes. "What did I do wrong?", he questioned. "What did I do to deserve this?"

His heart pounded, not because he was scared, no; because now, he had lost it all to rage. After seeing what the goblins had done to his abode, he set on a journey, to correct this reality; to correct it all.

The sun was awful sharp in the morning, with its rays striking the eyes of a poor farmer, Novim. The old middle-aged man placed his hand to shade his eyes from the sun as he held on his shovel with his other hand. 

He moved his hand away from his head and got back to digging the ground to plant the corn seeds.
