Astoundingly Outcasted
In the streets of Nathirabad, a bustling city on the Sindh coast, a community of half-snake, half-human individuals gathered from an international forum hide from the general public in fear of the beasts they are thought to be. Rumours & bedtime stories circulate blaming them for the flaws of the community.
For a little while they manage to reside in quiet peace, until one of them falls prey to the weight on his shoulders from the powers granted. Each of the ‘natheren’ is granted a unique elemental, mortuary, or communicative ability in their teenage, before which all memories of the life they had are removed.
As a result of the sudden rebellion, the basic premises of their powers are pushed aside, & the humans of the neighbourhood are groped in once again, except this time, they’ve agreed to keep it to themselves lest they be called cynical.

“How long is this going to be? This-beach trip?”
