~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arabella has always been strong, and fierce, as she was trained to be. The daughter of the alpha rogue, she was always ready for battle against their enemy, the Nightshade pack. That is, until one day she finds out that her mate is one of them. Before she could even talk to him her father whisked her away, placed her in a cell, and hid her, determined to use her as a pawn in his own sick and twisted game. She waited for three years in that dark cold cell for her mate to come to her, to find her, to save her, but he didn’t. She was told he knew of her, and that he didn’t care. On top of it, she overheard him telling Tessa the reason he didn’t trade her for his mate was that he had been in love with her. Arabella was hurt and humiliated. Alpha Nate asked her to give his pack three months, and then he’d personally find her a new pack to live in. She was determined to stay since she promised three months, but she didn’t realize how hard that promise would be to complete.
Isaac had been upwind from Arabella that day she had smelled his scent and felt the pull, and for those three years, he didn’t know she was his mate. He knows now he should have gone to his brother for help when he was being blacked, he should have told Nate everything, but he didn’t, and now he was left with only three months to convince his mate to forgive him, to give him another chance, and to not leave their pack.
It doesn’t help, however, that someone else from Arabella’s past comes out of nowhere and tries to sweep her off her feet. Now Isaac is torn, unsure if he’s even the right one for Arabella, if he should keep fighting for her, or if it’s better to just let her go, once and for all.
