Alyssa Marie Donovan, the future Alpha of the Black Serpents is met with the devastating news that she will have to wed Damian Lockheart, the future Alpha of the Bloodhounds. The sadistic man has never caught her interest, and she is well aware of the wickedness and cruelty of which he is famous for. But no matter how hard she fights against it, the forces which set this alliance in motion refuse to budge.
On a particular night before their unceremonious wedding however, she is murdered; by none other than Damian himself. Why he did this is a question which no one can answer, and Alyssa is left for dead with no one really knowing what happened.
But fate has a mysterious way of working, and Alyssa wakes up several years later in the body of a different person entirely. Damian is now the Alpha of the Bloodhounds, and unforeseen circumstances bring the two together one again.
Will Alyssa’s revenge be successful as she tries to repay Damian in his old coin? Or will a newfound love be able to prevail, against the forces which would much rather see both of them destroyed?
