On the night of October 11, 1973, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, two shipyard workers, Charles Hickson (42) and Calvin Parker (19), went fishing on the banks of the Pascagoula River.As the sun set, a strange, glowing, blueish object descended from the sky, making a soft whirring sound. It hovered a few feet above the ground. Then, three bizarre creatures emerged—around 5 feet tall, gray-skinned, with no necks, carrot-like protrusions for ears, and claw-like hands.The beings floated toward the terrified men, paralyzed them, and brought them aboard the craft. Inside, Charles was examined by a floating, robotic eye, while Calvin couldn’t remember most of what happened. After a while, they were returned to the riverbank, dazed and frightened.They reported the incident to the local sheriff. At first, authorities were skeptical.
