Charlotte, an omega she-wolf, has an Alpha bloodline. She soon meets her “mate”, an Alpha called Clay.
Clay believes Charlotte was his mate, yet Charlotte couldn’t sense the mate bond. To figure out why the mate bond isn’t working for her, she starts off to find the sign of the moon goddess.
Soon she learns that the soul of Clay’s dead ex-mate was partly reborn into her. That’s when she finds out about the “Moon Lie”.

Charlotte looked at the bright moon and imagined that Shaw was her mate.
But soon, she lowered her head again, denying the possibility. She was just an inferior Omega. No way could she be Shaw's mate.
Tired, Charlotte went into her shabby little room, got under the quilt, and soon fell asleep.
Charlotte had a dream...
In the dream, a man turned his back to her and whispered something, but Charlotte heard what he said anyway...
"Charlotte, my mate."
Who was he? Was it Shaw...
Maybe she could see the man's face if she came closer!
Charlotte summoned her courage and strode forward...

"Charlotte, could you please help me apply the ointment again?" Tina turned to look at Charlotte and said.
Charlotte didn't refuse, she dug out a little ointment and applied it to Tina's waist. Although ……
