Remainment of the soulmates

For a human I shouldn't know about the other world with vampires, witches, and werewolves. I was born to two human parents who lived regular lives. However, I know of the other world through my memories. I can remember many of my past lives and I use that in my everyday life in order to move forward. However, like werewolves I have a soulmate that I have been connected to for many lives but I don't want to find my soulmate in this life. Still, it does not seem like I can avoid that for long. For at 19 years old I have run into my soulmate once again.

Carmen lifted her head with it throbbing as she watched Alexander take Sara and disappear. She let out a cough as blood dribbled from her mouth. She wiped it away as her eyes examined the room. Carter was at least still knocked out on the floor but she could feel the aura that was leaking from him. Slowly, she got to her feet as her injuries……
