“Miss Talia, you will be charged for the murder of Mrs. Clifford" she heard the voice say and she looked up to see Clifford and his hosts of lawyer looking down at her

“What do you mean charged for murder? I never killed her! I only found her lying on the floor and was trying to help" she defended herself with a loud voice, shock written all over her face but all she got in return was a smirk from the billionare standing in front of her

“No one would believe you as long as I tell them you killed her" he replied coldly

“What do you want from me? Why are you doing this to me?" She yelled at him with tears flowing down her cheeks

“Marry me, that's the only way out of this mess you've gotten yourself into" Clifford's deep voice resonated in her head

“what?" She exclaimed and he gave her a ‘the choice is yours' shrug


Talia had to sleep with Clifford, her father's friend to avoid being thrown on the street with her triplet siblings and she never wanted more than that but Clifford wanted her for a mistress which she refused blatantly
