Growing up, I loved hearing the stories about how my mother saved the tribes from the dark wizard and how my parents fought for their love as the first wolf/human/Lux Blanda couple. But with the years, it just became a reminder about how people viewed me. Everybody was sure I was just as amazing as my mother. But the truth is I’m not! At 17, almost 18 years old, I still haven’t got my wolf, and I’m not even sure I ever will. Sure, I’m tall, and I got incredible strength compared to ordinary humans, but as a daughter to an Alpha I feel left out. All my full-blooded cousins shifted at 13 years old. My father says that they have no idea how it affects my wolf-genes, me being half and all. At first, I was really upset about it, but I’ve learned to deal with it, but I’m not really talking about it to anyone. Because no one really knows how it feels to be like this – besides my brother Theo, but he is only 7 years old, so he isn’t even old enough to get it.
