It was a regular day for 18 year old Renji Aiuchi and Himari Hanabusa when something fantasitcal happened. While Renji was checking out a book from the library, a light began to surround him and before he knew it, he, along with the girl from the library, were in another world. Now he's being told that he has to defeat the demon lord and save this strange world? Thrust into a place he knows nothing about and tasked with saving people he's never met and defeating enemies he has no hate for, he finds himself in a constant battle with himself and what he desires. Add on that he wants to protect Himari, who was accidentally transported along with him, how will he overcome the mental and moral dilemmas that he will find himself in in the midsts of war? And will he be able to protect Himari along the way?
“Then I shall ask once more. Sir Renji, will you defend our world and its people? Will you defeat the demons and the demon lord and stop their incursion?” The King asked.
Renji glared at him, his eyes analyzing all the information he had heard today before answering.
