Vincent had different plans for his life than being crowned the Don of Don’s, but when he is pulled away from his personal dreams and forced complete the work of his father, he realises that every day he is losing himself to the underbelly of crime, and the only way to keep his family safe is to be the type of animal that everyone else is terrified of.
Across the town, working in a hospital is Dr Chiara Ricci, a rising star in trauma surgery, who is the daughter of the community’s GP. Unbeknownst to her, her father has his own secrets that he has protected her from.
When Vincent makes his usual demand for a doctor to attend him, Chiara finds herself at the centre of a world that she is disgusted by.
One thing is certain, the Don will always need a doctor. Can any common ground be found between a saviour and a killer?
