the house with no doors

every small town has there folk tales. my town has a few but i never believed any of them. one that stood out for me though was about a house at the end of my street. people say its haunted others say that there was a wealthy family that lived there until their son murdered everyone. i always thought they were stories for around the campfire. kids would always dare each other to go up the path and knock on the door but no one ever made it past the gate. there were rumors that a few girls have gone missing after getting dared to go up the path but they were just rumors. on my eighteenth birthday i had a party, dancing, drinking, making out, games. typical party stuff. towards the end of the night some of my friends and i were playing truth or dare. after a few truths here couple dares there it was my turn. i chose dare thinking it would be something stupid. im not sure who said it but my dare was to go to the house and knock on the door. like i said before i didnt believe the stories and i was not scared. so i accepted and started walking towards the gate of the house. i should have listened, this would be the last night i would see my friends alive.

Usual father, mother, son, daughter. Apparently they were a happy loving family. Until the son turned eighteen, he started acting possessive toward……
