Nanami Yoshino is just a simple and nice girl. She was loved by everyone around her but after a near death experience caused by an accident, everything changed that made her father decide to send her far from their hometown.
On her way to her new home, she encounters different unordinary creatures and she meets someone that can finally explain every change in her life. As well as the reason why she was able to see a parasite, an organism that only a few people can see and it has the ability to attach to a human, give them negative thoughts that made them take their own life.
Since she was able to see this kind of creature, she was recruited to become one of the Xterminators, the one that slays a parasite.
She refuses at first but then agrees as she faces the reality of how dangerous this mystery creature is.
